About Me

From Nutrition Science to Ayurveda and psychotherapy

Who I am

I’m Andrea Schollmeyer – a licensed non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, Ayurvedic therapist, and nutrition scientist (M.Sc.). As a woman, partner, mother of two sons, and passionate dancer, I lead a colourful, dynamic life. Whether cooking with fresh ingredients, practising yoga, or recharging in the mountains or by the water, I find balance in movement, creativity, joy, and retreat. Family, friendships, and genuine connections are my sources of strength – they shape me, both as a person and as a therapist.

My Journey

My career began with a Master’s in Nutritional Sciences and years as a product and project manager in the food industry. Over time, I realised my true passion lay beyond products and processes: I wanted to support people on their personal journeys – with empathy, respect, and genuine curiosity for their stories.

I love listening, making connections, and creating spaces where people feel understood and empowered. These qualities led me to Ayurveda, a tradition that views health as an individual, holistic process. Here, I recognised: True well-being arises when body, mind, and soul are in harmony – and the psyche plays a central role. How we process crises, manage stress, or embrace change profoundly shapes our quality of life.

My Qualifications

To support people on this path, I completed:

• qualification as non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie),
• advanced training in solution-focused short-term therapy,
• in-depth Ayurvedic education with a focus on Ayurvedic psychotherapy.

Today, I combine my scientific background with Ayurvedic principles – and my strength in meeting people at eye level with genuine interest.
This has created a therapeutic approach that sees you in your wholeness,
not just your struggles, but also your potential for growth.
